The Basmanny Court of Moscow drew up an administrative protocol on the propaganda of LGBT people among minors against the Fonbet TV company, which owns TNT Music (part 2 of article 6.21.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). In December 2022, President Vladimir Putin signed into law a law banning “propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations, pedophilia and gender reassignment.”
Individuals face a fine of 50,000 to 400,000 rubles for this, officials – from 100,000 to 800,000 rubles, and legal entities – up to 5 million rubles. Sites where such propaganda is found will be added to the register of prohibited sites and blocked.
