In March 2022, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky signed a law on the forced seizure of assets of Russia and its residents. The arrest of Tatneft assets in Ukraine in the amount of about $68 million was announced at the end of May 2022. During 2022-2023, corporate rights and real estate, in particular, owned by Rosneft, Rosatom, Gazprom, Rostec, Rusal and HMS Group, were arrested in Ukraine.
