The widow of Sergei Puskepalis will play in the new season of Shifra

Episodes of the fourth season, in addition to St. Petersburg, were filmed in Moscow and Kislovodsk. The main characters performed by Maryana Spivak, Ekaterina Vilkova, Elena Panova and Yana Dubuis will again appear in the frame. The creators of the project dedicated the previous season to the memory of Sergei Puskepalis, for whom those shootings were one of the last. After the tragic death of an actor in a car accident, his character, however, will not completely disappear from the series.

“It is impossible to get used to the fact that he is no more…,” says Vera Storozheva. – Serezha asked to reduce the line of his hero in the third season, we reduced it as much as possible. At the end of the third season, there is a heartbreaking scene when his character is forced to leave MUR. In the script, we still had several scenes where his Lieutenant Colonel Proskurin appeared, but now, of course, he is behind the scenes. But the hero of Serezha will always be invisible in our series.

According to the plot of the fourth season, Lieutenant Colonel Proskurin, after being fired from the police, moved to another city, but insisted that a special analytical department be created in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where they invited former intelligence officers who helped in investigations.

Some intrigue is connected with the fact that Elena Petrova, the widow of Sergei Puskepalis, will play a small role in the series. Elena dreamed of an acting career and even studied at a theater studio, which her future husband also went to. However, an attempt to enter the theater school ended in failure for Elena. The affair with Sergei, who by that time was already a theater actor and had the experience of an unsuccessful marriage, began at a meeting of graduates of the theater studio.

In the family, Elena served as the keeper of the hearth, so she did not attempt to resume her acting education. But in every possible way she developed the talent of her son Gleb, who had already become a famous actor. It is possible that the role in the popular spy series will become for Elena Petrova something like a reboot and open up new cinematic horizons.

In the fourth season of the project, Agrippina Steklova and Euclid Kurdzidis will join the star team.
