The volume of transactions through the SBP since the launch exceeded 15 trillion rubles

The total volume of transactions in the Faster Payments System (FPS) has exceeded RUB 15 trillion since the launch. More than half of this amount (9.3 trillion rubles) fell on the current incomplete year, informs Central Bank. In the third quarter of 2022, 839 million transactions were carried out through the FPS for the amount of 3.9 trillion rubles, which exceeds the figures for the same period last year by 3.6 and 2.8 times, respectively.
In Q3, 58.6 million users carried out transactions through the SBP. On average, there were more than 14 operations per user. In the third quarter of 2021, this figure was 8. In total, since the launch of the FPS, 72 million citizens have performed 2.9 billion transactions.
