The volume of lending to the Stavropol business in 2022 grew by almost a third

More than 277 billion rubles. loans issued by banks to enterprises of the Stavropol Territory from January to September 2022. Kommersant was informed about this in the press service of the Stavropol branch of the Southern Main Directorate of the Bank of Russia. This is almost 30% more than in the same period last year.
According to the agency, the volume of lending to large businesses in the region increased by 36.5% and amounted to 156 billion rubles. Loans were issued to small and medium-sized businesses in the amount of 121.3 billion rubles, which is 22% higher than in 2021.
As specified in the press service, the main contribution to the dynamics of lending in the Stavropol Territory “still made an increase in the issuance of loans to enterprises in the manufacturing industry (by 2.4 times) and agriculture (by 1.2 times)”. This growth is associated with the implementation of preferential lending programs “and, in general, a gradual decrease in lending rates in April-September of this year.”
The credit portfolio of business at the beginning of October, according to the Stavropol branch of the Southern GU of the Bank of Russia, amounted to more than 323 billion rubles, which is 37.3% more than a year earlier.
Funds on deposits of legal entities increased by 14.7% over the year and as of October 1, 2022 amounted to almost 36 billion rubles. The volume of funds on the accounts of organizations increased by 17.4%, exceeding 73 billion rubles.
