The United Tea Company, which bought the production facilities of the former Unilever tea factory, became the owner of the Beseda brand. In the near future, the production of tea under this trademark may be resumed.

The information that the United Tea Company is now the owner of the trademarks associated with the Beseda brand was found by Kommersant in the Rospatent database.

The Beseda brand appeared on the Russian market in the late 1990s and, along with Lipton and Brooke Bond, was part of the Unilever portfolio. In 2021, Concerto sold its tea business, merged into Ekaterra, to CVC Capital Partners. In the summer of 2022, amid the conflict in Ukraine, Ekaterra announced its withdrawal from Russia, and its assets were transferred to the United Tea Company. Representatives of the company have already officially confirmed that they are ready to “revive” the Beseda brand in the near future, however, the exact timing of the appearance of tea under this brand on the shelves of Russian stores has not yet been announced.

More details – in the material “Kommersant” “”Conversation” is brewed again.
