Approximately 15,000 people, i.e., about half of the air traffic controllers working in Russia, are now in “partial downtime.” This was announced on August 16 in a letter to the Prosecutor General’s Office by the President of the Federal Trade Union of Air Traffic Controllers (FPAD) Sergey Kovalev. Vedomosti got acquainted with a copy of the letter.
Kovalev’s appeal was sent in response to a notice from the Prosecutor General’s Office, in which the supervisory agency informed the FPA that there were no violations following an audit of the activities of the national provider of air navigation services FSUE State Air Traffic Management Corporation (GK for ATM, is under the control of the Ministry of Transport of the Federal Air Transport Agency).
