The Tatneft complex plans to process 18 million tons of oil this year

The refining volume at the Taneko oil refinery complex, owned by the Tatneft group, should be 18 million tons by the end of 2023. This was announced by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, transmits TASS.
“This year, the volume of oil refining at Taneko should exceed 18 million tons,” he said at the annual message to the State Council of the republic.
It is expected that oil production in Tatarstan at the end of this year will be at least 35 million tons. These figures are at the level of production last year.
“Tatneft” in August presented financial results according to IFRS for the first half of 2023. According to the report, the company’s net profit increased by 6% year on year and amounted to 147.67 billion rubles, which exceeds the forecasts of market analysts. The forecast of Finam experts turned out to be closest – 147.2 billion rubles.
