The Roselectronics holding (part of Rostec) has developed samples of a material capable of absorbing radio waves in a wide frequency range. Rostec clarified that this material makes it difficult to detect the aircraft using radar equipment, since it absorbs up to 95% of the incident electromagnetic radiation from radars.

Our prototypes have already successfully passed the necessary factory tests,” said Alexei Dymovskikh, Director General of the Central Design Bureau for Special Radio Materials.
Stealth technology is a set of measures aimed at reducing the visibility of combat vehicles in the radar and infrared detection spectra through specially designed geometric shapes and the use of radar-absorbing materials and coatings. Aircraft with early stealth technologies were also used in the USSR.
