The State Duma proposed to establish a mass recovery of used spare parts

Deputies of four committees of the State Duma are planning to propose to the government to create an industry of mass restoration and use of used auto parts. About it report Izvestia with reference to a letter addressed to Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.
The information was confirmed by Anatoly Aksakov, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on the Financial Market. According to him, it is planned to send a letter to the Cabinet next week.
In the document, the deputies noted that due to sanctions, the lack of spare parts could become one of the main reasons for the failure of cars. At the same time, the industry of mass restoration and the use of used spare parts is practically not developed in Russia.
In particular, the State Duma proposes to adopt legislation on the procedure for recycling cars with the reuse of spare parts, introduce marking of used parts and oblige Russian and foreign automakers in the Russian Federation to restore components. The deputies also point to the need for requirements for the restoration of parts and the creation of a center that will unite enterprises and service stations.
Deputies propose to involve small and medium-sized businesses in the restoration of spare parts. Economic and tax incentives should be provided for such enterprises, the letter says.
Chairman of the Duma Committee on Industry Vladimir Gutenev noted that the initiative was proposed “at least a year” ago, since then it has not lost its relevance, the deputy added. Aksakov supported this proposal, and the head of the transport committee, Yevgeny Moskvichev, declined to comment.
Against the backdrop of a special operation in Ukraine and the adoption of sanctions against Russia, a number of foreign automakers have suspended the supply of cars and spare parts to the country. In particular, this decision was made by Volkswagen, Skoda, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Audi and others.
