The State Duma adopted the law on the register of beer producers

The State Duma approved in the third reading the law on the creation of a register of beer producers from September 1, 2023, should from the data of the Duma electronic database.
The document obliges all producers of beer and beer drinks, as well as cider, poiret and mead, to be registered in the register, which will be maintained by Rosalkogolregulirovanie. For companies producing no more than 100,000 decaliters per year, a simplified procedure for inclusion in the register is provided.
Before the company is included in the list, an unscheduled inspection of the enterprise will be carried out, the author of the initiative, a deputy from United Russia, Ildar Gilmutdinov, explained earlier.
In addition, the law tightens the technical requirements for beer producers. Now companies with the capacity of the main equipment of less than 300,000 decaliters per year are not required to equip the devices with devices for measuring and accounting for finished products. According to the document, the requirement is reduced from 300,000 to 100,000 decaliters per year.
It is noted that manufacturers who, as of August 31, 2023, have permission to use the main equipment with a capacity of no more than 300,000 decaliters per year without equipping with additional devices, will automatically be included in the register. An on-site assessment of such enterprises for compliance with the mandatory requirement will be carried out from February 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025.
The bill was submitted to the State Duma on December 21, 2020, since then it has been coordinated with relevant departments and market participants. The main provisions of the law come into force on September 1, 2023.
