The share of the dollar in international payments in August 2023 through SWIFT increased to 48.03% against 46.5% in July, which was the maximum for all time of observation, reports “RIA News” with reference to the report of the international interbank payment system.
It is noted that at the end of August this year, the share of the euro in international cross-border settlements reached its record lows: at the end of the last summer month, the single European currency lost another 1.22 percentage points, its share in settlements amounted to 23.2%.
