The share of dollar use in SWIFT payments reached a record – Kommersant

The share of the dollar in international settlements through the SWIFT interbank system reached record highs in July. According to the results of the last month, the American currency accounted for 46.46% of settlements (+4.44 percentage points), RIA Novosti calculated based on SWIFT data.
At the same time, the share of the euro in international settlements fell to the lowest level in the history of the publication of data. Relative to June, it decreased by 6.83 percentage points and amounted to 24.42%.
Yuan showed positive dynamics in July. Its share of which in international settlements via SWIFT increased by 0.29 percentage points to 3.06%. This is the highest figure since the beginning of 2022.
