At the end of 2022, in Russia, the share of borrowers with two or more loans exceeded 50% for the first time. This was due to an increase in the number of bank customers with five loans, RIA Novosti reports, citing data from the Scoring Bureau.
According to the data, at the end of December last year, the share of borrowers with one loan fell to 49.7%. In 2021, the figure was 52.3%, and in 2020 – 55%.
At the same time, the share of Russians with only two loans decreased to 23.9% from 24.3% in 2021. First of all, the Scoring Bureau notes, this was facilitated by the record growth of Russians with five or more loans, up to 7.1%.
“Scoring Bureau” also recorded an increase in the number of citizens with four loans, up to 6.7%. The share of clients with three loans increased from 12.1% to 12.6%.
