The Russians named Pushkin, Prilepin, and Pelevin as the main writers of 2022

VTsIOM published survey data, during which the persons of 2022 in Russia were determined. Among the nominations, by tradition, was the writer of the year. In the first position, according to the results of the survey, he was Zakhar Prilepin with a result of 4% of the number of respondents.
As VTsIOM notes in its release, the choice of the main writer was not easy for the Russians this time – 75% could not report anything intelligible on this account. In second place is Alexander Pushkin, who is 2% behind Prilepin. On the third, which is understandable, Viktor Pelevin with the same result as Pushkin.
The long-term leader of the rating, Daria Dontsova, this time did not enter the top three.
