At the 80th Hollywood Foreign Press Association Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles, Steven Spielberg won the Best Director and Best Picture nominations for The Fabelmans.
The script is based on the director’s autobiography. He showed the story of a teenager, Sammy Fabelman, who, at an early age, was fascinated by the magic of cinema and began making films.
It is known that Spielberg had a record number of Golden Globe nominations and only two wins.
The Banshee of Inisherina received three Golden Globes at once – as the best musical, as well as for the script and best actor. It was Colin Farrell.
Michelle Yeoh, who starred in the musical comedy Everything, Everywhere, All at once, was recognized as the best actress.
The series “House of the Dragon” was recognized as the best in its category.
