“Kavkaz.RF” and “Mountain Peaks” LLC signed an agreement for the sale and purchase of shares in the management company “Arkhyz” and a shareholder agreement for the right to manage a ski resort in Karachay-Cherkessia. The winner was determined during competitive bidding, which took place at the site of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation.
The winner – the company “Mountain Peaks” offered 24.2 billion rubles for the shares of “Arkhyz”. Another bidder, JSC Partners Group, was ready to pay 19 billion rubles for the paper.
After the conclusion of the agreement, Mountain Peaks must pay 6 billion rubles. for 25% plus one share. As specified in the company, the payment will be made in March-June “depending on the receipt by the buyer of the necessary approvals and consents of regulatory authorities.” Payment for the second block of shares in the amount of 23 billion rubles. will take place in 2030. Thus, the total purchase price of all shares will be 29 billion rubles.
Under the terms of the deal, within four years from the date of conclusion of the contract, Mountain Peaks will have to create at least 30 km of slopes in Arkhyz and a single ski area for three tourist villages Romantik, Lunnaya Polyana and Dukka. Within seven years, the number of accommodation places should increase to 8 thousand, in addition, it will be necessary to create at least 500 seats in catering facilities.
The press service of Mountain Peaks LLC clarified that the final strategy for the development of the Arkhyz resort will be presented in September 2023, “earlier, according to the tender documentation, master and business plans will be presented.”
