On the day of its 15th anniversary, the Artist Foundation, headed by Evgeny Mironov and Maria Mironova, presented the Recognition Award. Every year it is awarded to artists, theater and film workers from different regions of Russia for their long-term and outstanding contribution to the development of the culture of our country. This year the Prize was awarded to 20 laureates.
The ceremony took place at the Russian Youth Theater. Those whose experience serving the theater exceeded 40 years rose to applause on the academic stage, and many continue to work or are engaged in teaching. Among the laureates of the “Recognition” award – 2023 is the oldest artist of the Moscow Art Theater. Chekhov Stanislav Lyubshin, ballet dancer, choreographer, choreographer Vladimir Vasiliev, artist Boris Messerer, playwright Alexander Gelman, director and screenwriter of the animation Inessa Kovalevskaya, doctor of art history Nina Shalimova, doctor of art history Alexey Bartoshevich.
But the “Artist” awards its prize not only to actors or directors of metropolitan and regional theaters, but also to heads of literary departments, make-up artists, costume designers, in short, those who ensure the creative life of the theater behind the scenes. All laureates on this day received a commemorative statuette and a cash prize.
