The price of March futures for Brent crude on the ICE exchange rose to $87 per barrel for the first time since December 5. As of 11:30 am, Brent slowed its growth to $86.44 per barrel (+0.348%). Futures for WTI crude for February delivery rose 0.9% to $80.98 a barrel.
At the end of 2022, the price of Brent exceeded $84 per barrel. Falling oil prices tied up with concerns about the state of the world economy this year. Bank of America analysts predictedthat the cost of Brent oil in 2023 will rise to an average of $100 per barrel.
