The price of June futures for Brent oil on the London ICE exchange exceeded $92 per barrel for the first time since October 23, 2023. Futures for WTI crude oil for delivery in May also rose by 1.83%, to $87.2 per barrel.

According to forecasts by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), global oil demand will remain at 2.2 million barrels per day (b/d) in 2024, to 104.46 million b/d. According to their data, resource production by the countries of the organization in March remained at the level of February.
