The exchange price of AI-92 gasoline in the European part of Russia at the end of trading on September 15 exceeded 70,000 rubles/t and reached a new absolute maximum. At 14:55, the price increased by 1.15% and amounted to 70,446 rubles/t, according to data from the St. Petersburg International Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange.
Prices for summer diesel fuel, jet fuel and heating oil also reached historical maximums. The cost of summer diesel was 73,758 rub./t (+0.97%), jet fuel – 75,010 rub./t (+2.76%), fuel oil – 37,236 rub./t (+1.81%). The exchange recorded the maximum cost of diesel on September 14 – it was 73,049 rubles/t. The price of jet fuel reached the previous record on September 7 – RUB 71,719/t. The previous maximum for the cost of fuel oil was reached on September 14 and amounted to 36,574 rubles/t.
Following the trading results, AI-95 gasoline rose in price in the European part of Russia by 0.17% to 76,403 rubles/t. – by 473 rubles. less than the historical high. The exchange recorded the record price for AI-95 on September 7 – it was 76,876 rubles/t.
Russian Energy Minister Nikolay Shulginov stated September 11 that the situation on the motor fuel market should improve “in the near future.” He explained that the department’s forecast is related to the upcoming completion of repair work at oil refineries.
