The head of the corporate finance department of the Financial Group Finam, Alexey Kurasov, told Interfax that the initial public offering (IPO) of the Kaluga distillery Kristall on the Moscow Exchange may move to February. Initially, Kristall planned an IPO for December 2023, but then moved it to January 2024. The organizer of the placement is FG Finam.
“At the moment we are waiting to receive all the necessary documents from the Central Bank. However, if the regulator requests additional data, the placement will be carried out in February,” said Alexey Kurasov.
Kristall announced plans to conduct an IPO on the Moscow Exchange in early October 2023, then it was reported that shares would be placed in the fourth quarter of 2023. The placement size is expected to be RUB 1–1.5 billion. depending on the market situation. Kristall intends to use funds from the IPO, among other things, to replace Western manufacturers who have left Russia.
