The musicians hid their entire tour schedule
The terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall concert hall will most likely affect musical life in Russia. At least the Picnic group, which found itself at the epicenter of the tragedy, is not planning any concerts at the moment.
“We, together with the whole country, follow the news, read them with horror and don’t think about any concerts,” group manager Yuri Chernyshevsky commented on the current situation to MK. Chernyshevsky refused to further talk about the group’s future touring schedule, but it is clear that for the first time in their career, the classics of Russian rock were faced with a situation in which their activities could be divided into “before” and “after.”
Now all the contents of the group’s website with news about releases and upcoming events are hidden. Instead, a condolence message was displayed. “The entire Picnic team expresses deep condolences to the families and friends of the victims. We pray for the speedy recovery of the victims. We are deeply shocked by this terrible tragedy and mourn with you…”
The next performance of “Picnic” was planned for today, March 23, at Crocus, then St. Petersburg was included in the group’s plans.
