The key assets of Delo Group of Companies came under the leadership of people from Rosatom. Thus, Rosatom Business Development Director Ekaterina Lyakhova has been appointed head of the group’s parent structure, Management Company Delo, and will retain her post in the state corporation. The president of Transcontainer will be Mikhail Kontserev, who worked for many years in Rosatom structures. At the same time, Rosatom remains in the Delo Group of Companies as a minority partner of the group’s founder, Sergei Shishkarev, with 49% of the shares.

Ekaterina Lyakhova, director of business development at Rosatom, has been appointed general director of Management Company Delo, the parent structure of the Delo group. About it reported group “Delo”. In her new post, she will replace Dmitry Pankov, headed Management Company “Delo” since October 2021. Ms. Lyakhova, who has worked in various management positions at Rosatom for the past 12 years, will retain her position in the state corporation.

Rosatom entered the capital of the Delo group at the end of 2019, purchasing 30% in the group for 29.89 billion rubles. Immediately following this, the scale of the Delo group grew due to the acquisition of control in the country’s largest container operator, TransContainer, for 60.3 billion rubles. (see “Kommersant” dated November 27, 2019), which the group later bought out entirely. Rosatom had an option to buy another 19% of Delo Group in 2023, but it was exercised ahead of schedule, in August 2022 (see “Kommersant” dated August 10, 2022).

Rosatom’s share still remains at 49%, as noted by Delo Group of Companies. 51% belongs to the founder of the group, Sergei Shishkarev.

At the same time, as Mr. Shishkarev said in September on the sidelines of the EEF, in August an agreement was concluded with Rosatom on parity participation in the management of the group (see “Kommersant” dated September 13). It, “from a management point of view,” presupposes “parity and consensus decision-making on all issues,” he said, and the additional agreement provides for equal participation of both parties on the board of directors of the parent company. In subsidiaries, the composition of the boards of directors also changed to parity.

Also, Delo Group of Companies replaced the president of TransContainer. Instead of Valery Evdokimenko, who came to this position a little over a year ago, it will be Mikhail Kontserev. Mr. Kontserev, reports GC Delo, worked in various structures of Rosatom, such as Rusatom Service, Energy Efficiency Center Inter RAO UES (JV Rosatom and Inter RAO), Uranium One Group. Since 2019, he has headed the VGS Group Management Company LLC, which specializes in asset management in the field of repair and maintenance of railway rolling stock of Russian Railways OJSC. Mr. Shishkarev, according to the Delo group, places his hopes, among other things, on “Mikhail Kontserev’s experience in carrying out organizational and structural changes.”
