The owner of the gas station “Neftmagistral” acquired the “Culinary shop of the Karavaev brothers”

The fuel company Neftmagistral, which owns the gas station network of the same name, has become the new owner of the Karavaev Brothers Culinary Shop cafe chain. To the data of the Unified State Register of Legal Entities drew attention RBC. The deal was also confirmed to the publication by a source close to one of the network’s co-owners.
The owner of the cafe chain changed at the end of March 2023. The interlocutor of RBC did not specify the amount and other details of the transaction. General Director of INFOLine-Analytics Mikhail Burmistrov estimated the sale at 100 million rubles, assuming that “in the current conditions” the price could be lower.
According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Neftmagistral is owned by CEO Alexander Erastov and Natalia Erastova on a parity basis. In 2021, the company’s revenue amounted to 46 billion rubles, net profit – 534 million rubles. The company was taken over by Selena LLC, to which the domain name of the Karavaev Brothers Culinary Store was registered.
Until March 23, the owners of the network were Yevgeny Katsenelson and Igor Moiseev (50% of Selena each). Katsenelson refused to comment on RBC, the publication failed to contact Moiseev.
The Karavaev Brothers Culinary Store network is a format of city cafes, where a line for distributing culinary and pastries with a coffee machine is located. It was founded by Evgeny Katsenelson and Vladimir Lyakishev in 2008. In 2019, they were joined by another partner, Igor Moiseev. In 2021, Lyakishev went out of business, and in May 2022 he was found dead on the technical floor of a high-rise building. A gun registered to him was found next to the businessman.
RBC writes that, according to the data on the website, there are 42 establishments of the Karavaev Brothers Culinary Shop in Moscow. At the time of publication of the news, the network’s website is not working.
