The owner of “L’Etoile” bought out the network of cosmetics stores “Podruzhka”

Alkor and Co. (owner of the L’Etoile cosmetics chain) bought out the Podruzhka cosmetics chain, increasing its share from 90% to 100%. About it informed Forbes, citing a source close to Podruzhka and SPARK-Interfax data.
Prior to this, Alkor and Co had already owned 90% stake in the authorized capital of Taber Trade (controls the Podruzhka network). The press service of “L’Etoile” confirmed that the company finally bought out “Podruzhka”. “In July 2022, the remaining 10% of Taber Trade also came under the control of L’Etoile,” a company representative said.
He also pointed to personnel changes at Taber Trade. In August of this year, Dmitry Tamurka will be replaced by Stanislav Melinger as CEO. Previously, Melinger worked as the director of the technological development department at the Adamas jewelry company.
General Director of L’Etoile Tatyana Volodina believes that the deal will strengthen the positions of both companies “in absolutely all directions.” She noted that in the future it is planned to expand the range of both networks and improve delivery.
Currently, there are 287 Podruzhka stores and 1,000 L’Etoile outlets in Russia. Alkor and Co became the majority shareholder of Taber Trade in January 2020. Then 5% of the shares remained with the founder and CEO of the company Dmitry Tamurka, another 5% with its executive director Pavel Smirnov.
