The organizers of the festival “Spasskaya Tower” revealed the highlights of the event

The jubilee XV Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival will be held from August 26 to September 4 in Moscow on Red Square, the territory of VDNKh, as well as in parks and squares of the capital.
In 2022, the orchestras of the Ministry of Defense, the FSO, the Russian Guard, the FSB and the Ministry of Emergency Situations will perform at the Spasskaya Tower site. The participants of the festival will be Oleg Gazmanov, the Moral Code group and Sergey Mazaev, the Va-Bank group and Alexander F. Sklyar, Fyodor Rytikov, a participant in the Voice project, and many others.
Teams from Armenia, Belarus, Venezuela, Egypt, India, and Thailand will also take part in the Spasskaya Tower. The artistic director of the festival, Sergei Khlebnikov, said in an interview with TASS that due to the political events of this year, the focus in the geography of participants has shifted from Europe to Asia and Africa.
The special guest of the festival in 2022 will be the large orchestra of the Armed Forces of Venezuela, numbering over 90 people from among the best military musicians of the orchestras of the branches of the armed forces, as well as graduates of the country’s leading musical institutions.
In addition, such original groups as the military symphony orchestra from Egypt, the marching band of the Bunwattana school (Thailand) and the band from India “Panghat” will perform in Russia. Khlebnikov also announced musical gifts and surprises, which are kept secret by the festival management. Another of its features in 2022 will be a daytime program at the Main Temple of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on September 3.
