The undamaged string of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline was depressurized as a precautionary measure. This was reported TASS with reference to the press service of the gas pipeline operator Nord Stream 2 AG.

“The Nord Stream 2 operator has lowered the pressure on Line B to around 50 bar as a precautionary measure. Further steps will be determined based on the results of a survey of the gas pipeline strings and discussions with the involved government agencies,” the company’s press service said.
