The movement of ferries along the Kerch crossing was temporarily stopped due to weather conditions from 21:30 on July 9, the Ministry of Transport of Crimea reported in Telegram. There is a strong wind.
A storm warning is in effect in Crimea. A yellow level of weather danger has been declared due to thunderstorms, wind gusts up to 20 m / s and emergency fire danger.
After the explosion of the Crimean bridge in October 2022, the Kerch ferry crossing is used for the transit of freight transport. The movement of cars and passenger transport is carried out on the bridge after restoration. The alternative route is the land route through the regions annexed in September 2022.
