The number of transactions with equity participation in construction in Moscow in October fell by half compared to last year

In Moscow, 4.6 thousand agreements for participation in shared construction (DDU) of residential real estate were registered in October, follows from statistics Rosreestr. This is 40% less than in September (7675) and 54% less than in October 2021 (9951).
In January-October, 70 thousand transactions were made. The fall was 10.8% compared to the same period last year. At the same time, this is 10.4% more than in January-October 2020 (63,480).
DDU is a document according to which the buyer transfers his money at the stage of real estate construction to the developer so that he can use these funds to build housing.
In the segment of non-residential real estate (includes commercial premises and parking spaces), 2181 DDUs are registered. This is 22.6% less than in September (2818) and 51.6% less than in October 2021 (4507). For ten months, the indicator decreased by 12.9%, to 31,702 DDUs.
