The number of sale and purchase agreements on the secondary housing market in Moscow for ten months decreased by 21.2% compared to the same period last year. About this in press release Rosreestr said.
“In total, since the beginning of this year, 107,778 registrations of contracts in the secondary housing market have been carried out. The difference with the same period in 2021 was 21.2% (136,771), the indicator decreased by 3.5% (111,746) compared to January-October 2020,” Rosreestr said in a statement.
In October this year, 11,505 housing purchase and sale contracts were registered in Moscow. By September, this figure rose by 11%. By May, when the minimum indicator this year (7219) was registered, the growth was about 60%.
The average cost of secondary real estate in the 18 largest regional markets of Russia (16 million-plus cities, Moscow and Leningrad regions) in November amounted to 122.8 thousand rubles. for 1 sq. m, decreasing by 0.1% compared to October. According to Sergei Shloma, director of the secondary market department at Inkom-Real Estate, demand for real estate in Moscow is gradually recovering, but the market is still playing out the “bubble effect”. Housing prices last year were overestimated by about 30%.
