Representatives of Iran did not confirm the information that appeared earlier in the media about the supply of 40 gas turbines to Russia. This was announced by Mikhail Kuznetsov, director of the department of mechanical engineering for the fuel and energy complex of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, speaking at a meeting in the Federation Council on import substitution.
According to Mr. Kuznetsov, the representative of Iran, the managing director of the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company (IGEDC) Reza Noshadi, who allegedly announced the supply of gas turbines to Russia, did not confirm to the Ministry of Industry and Trade that he had made such a comment. The department hopes that the existing demand will be satisfied by “Russian solutions”.
In October “RIA News” referring to a comment that Mr. Noshadi allegedly gave to the IRNA agency, reported that Iran had concluded an export agreement with Russia on the shipment of 40 gas turbines to Russia.
