The number of mortgage transactions in the market of new buildings in Moscow in July increased by 23.7%

In July, 7,005 mortgage transactions were concluded on the primary market of residential and non-residential real estate in Moscow. This is 23.7% more compared to the same period in 2022, the Moscow department of Rosreestr reported.

“The positive dynamics compared to the same month in 2022, when 5665 contracts were registered, amounted to 23.7%. At the same time, the difference with June of the current year is 8.7% (6442),” the press release says (quoted by TASS).

For seven months of 2023, 43.4 thousand mortgage transactions were registered in the primary market of Moscow. This is 17.5% (36,884) more year on year. 54.8% of all registered participation agreements were issued on loans, which was the maximum in recent years, said the head of the department, Igor Maidanov.

According to CIAN, over the past month, in the 18 largest regional markets of the country (16 million-plus cities, Moscow and Leningrad regions), the average cost of new buildings has grown by almost 2%. This was the most pronounced dynamics in six months. Until the end of the year, the figure may grow by another 5%, they are waiting on the market.
