The new season of the Avatar show will turn into a digital fairy tale

In the second season of the Avatar show, fans of the project will again find themselves on the border of the ordinary world and the reality created by digital technologies. The premiere of the new season is scheduled to air on NTV on November 5, but some details are already known.
The rules of the project have changed a little. In each episode, the avatars behind which popular artists of music, cinema and television are hiding will be divided into three groups, and based on the results of their performances, three digital heroes will be in the final category at the end of the program – one from each group. If the jury members want to reveal one of these three, they will be given three attempts to guess the star in the digital mask. A correct guess means that the participant in the show is eliminated and his two colleagues advance to the finals. If the jury doesn’t guess anyone, then all three avatars remain in the project.
As in the previous season, the rule of complete confidentiality will apply. The participants do not know each other’s names, do not meet each other during rehearsals and filming, and are accompanied by security guards from home to the filming pavilion.
Twelve digital avatars will fight for victory: Vasilisa the Beautiful, Tsokotukha Fly, Fox, Fiery Witch, Alyonushka, Cinderella, Sadko, Artemon, Tin Woodman, Serpent Gorynych, Nightingale the Robber and Troubadour. From the celebrities behind them, the digital images will get their voice, movements and even facial expressions. Using these clues, the jury members will have to guess which of the Russian pop stars controls which fairy-tale hero in a special studio.
“At first it seemed that it would be simply impossible to guess who was hiding behind the digital images, but practice has shown the opposite,” says jury member Timur Batrutdinov. — In the very first episode of the first season of the Avatar show, I recognized my friend Garik Kharlamov, who, unfortunately, was destined to perform in the image of Emelya for a very short time. But some participants still managed to confuse me quite a bit.”
Mark Tishman, who will also return to the judge’s chair, is confident that the jury’s main weapon is attentiveness. “I, like the rest of the jury, have already developed some of my own tricks, clues that help us follow the trail to guess the participants,” says Mark. – For example, this is the manner of movement, the way they breathe. Of course, everyone has already learned to very skillfully change voice timbres, but there is some specificity of articulation, speech therapy specificity, the pronunciation of certain consonants. And this is what you really pay attention to. Of course, there are timbres that are very difficult to hide, so this is always the first thing that is immediately heard.”
In addition to Timur and Mark, a place on the jury will be taken by Sergey Lazarev, Ida Galich, as well as a fifth judge, whose name will be announced at the online presentation of the second season on November 1st. The host of the project, as in the first season, will be Vyacheslav Makarov.
