At the evening session, the Moscow Exchange holds a discrete auction for shares of the St. Petersburg Exchange, introduced in the new package of US sanctions. The end of the discrete auction and the resumption of trading is scheduled for 21:20.

A discrete auction is held when the current share price deviates from the previous day’s close by more than 20%. A session consists of three ten-minute auctions.
After falling under US sanctions, the St. Petersburg Exchange announced the suspension of trading in Russian and foreign securities today, November 2and tomorrow, the 3rd of November. Trading is scheduled to resume on November 6. The press service of the trading platform assured that the sanctions will not affect clients’ assets.
