The Ministry of Industry and Trade filed a lawsuit against the United Engine Corporation (UEC, part of Rostec) in the Moscow Arbitration Court. Card appeared in the court database on December 7, attention was paid to it only now. The amount of claims is 11.3 billion rubles. However, the case materials are not disclosed.
United Engine Corporation develops and services engines for military and civil aviation, space programs and the navy, oil and gas industry and energy.
At the Rybinsk enterprise UEC Saturn, the development of the PD-35 engine began back in 2016. 180 billion rubles were allocated for the program. In December 2022, the development timeline for the engine, which was supposed to be presented before 2027–2028, postponed for several years. Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov saidthat the PD-35 engine can be created by 2030.
