On November 2, the Ministry of Finance placed federal loan bonds (OFZ) for a total of 166.976 billion rubles at three auctions. at face value. In addition, by placing government bonds today, the Ministry of Finance overfulfilled the placement plan for the fourth quarter by more than 2.6 times.
At the first auction, the Ministry of Finance placed “long” OFZ-PD №26240 with a maturity date of July 30, 2036 in the amount of 47.5 billion rubles. OFZ-PK floaters were sold at the second auction held on November 2 №29021 due on November 27, 2030 in the amount of 108.424 billion rubles. On the third – “inflationary” securities of the OFZ-IN series №52004 by 11.053 billion rubles.
At primary auctions in the previous two weeks, the Ministry of Finance placed OFZs in the amount of 227.553 billion rubles. Thus, in just three auction days (October 19 and 26, November 2), the Ministry of Finance attracted 394.53 billion rubles, exceeding the quarterly plan for placement of government bonds by 2.6 times.
