Specialists from the Restoration Council under the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation have not identified any destructive changes in the condition of the Trinity icon by Andrei Rublev. This was reported in the press service of the department.
As the insider noted, restorers at the I.E. Grabar Center conducted observation for 2 months. It is noted that no changes were recorded.
“…We can say that ideal conditions have been created. This observation is important for further clarification of the parameters for its storage in the future,” shared the center’s general director Dmitry Sergeev.
