A decrease in the cost of housing in Russia under current market conditions in the construction industry is not worth waiting for. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Ministry of Construction Nikita Stasishin, his words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
“There is no need to wait for a decrease in price growth per square meter, taking into account the growth of some positions of building materials, taking into account the growth of project financing, based on a decrease in sales rates, taking into account the declared quality of projects, taking into account the cost of land, and so on,” said Mr. Stasishin. He believes that at the moment an ideal balance has been established between price and ways to improve housing conditions.
According to Inkom-Nedvizhimost, the demand for new buildings in Moscow decreased by 44% compared to February 2022. From the materials of Rosreestr it follows that in February, in the primary market, citizens concluded 48% fewer transactions than last year. The average price per square meter in new buildings in old Moscow now exceeds 340,000 rubles. For the year it decreased by 1.5%.
