The manager of Otkritie asks to hold ex-heads of the bank accountable for the debts of the organization

The bankruptcy trustee of Otkritie Holding, Maria Bulatova, filed an application with the Moscow Arbitration Court to hold 18 former heads of the bank and one consulting company liable for the debts of a credit institution. Among the defendants are the founder of the Otkritie group Vadim Belyaev, the former president of the bank Ruben Aganbegyan and the ABE Consulting company, follows from the data posted on Federal resource.

In her statement, Mrs. Bulatova also asks to suspend the proceedings on her application until the end of settlements with creditors. The number of defendants also included, in particular, the former deputy general director for strategic communications of Otkritie, Alexei Karakhan, the ex-general director of the bank, Pavel Fedoseev, and the former vice president of the organization, Mikhail Nazarychev.

On July 20, 2022, the Moscow Arbitration Court declared Otkritie bankrupt. Ms. Bulatova was approved as the bankruptcy trustee of the credit institution. As of July last year, the amount of Otkritie’s debt to creditors was appreciated court in 920 billion rubles.
