The volume of suspicious transactions in the banking sector in 2022 decreased by 5%, informed TSB RF. Illegal withdrawal of funds abroad decreased to the lowest level for the entire monitoring period – 36 billion rubles. The volume of cash withdrawals in the banking sector turned out to be slightly higher than in 2021 – 64 billion rubles. In non-banking, on the contrary, they decreased by 5%, to 29 billion rubles. At the same time, the main demand for shadow financial services in 2022, like a year earlier, was formed in the construction sector (43%), trade (26%), and the service sector (19%).
