The dressing room of the Mark Zakharov Lenkom Theatre, where the actress Inna Churikova prepared for performances, was decided to be turned into a memorial place. Irina Goryunova, head of the literary and dramatic part of the theater, reports this.

According to Goryunova, this decision was made by the director of Lenkom, Mark Varshaver. Note that Churikova has served in Lenkom since 1975.

Irina Goryunova also said that in the future a competition would be announced for the creation of a monument to Inna Churikova at the Novodevichy cemetery. It is known that the project to create a monument will be supervised by the widower of the actress Gleb Panfilov. The theater will cover all expenses for the creation of the sculpture.

On January 14, People’s Artist of the USSR Inna Churikova died at the age of 80. On February 22, it will be 40 days since the death of the actress.
