People’s Artist of Russia Filipp Kirkorov received a million-ruble lawsuit because of a crucifix dance in the Kremlin, informs telegram channel Mash.

It is known that a lawsuit for insulting the feelings of believers was filed by Orthodox activists of the “Peaceful Warrior” movement headed by Mikhail Theodoridi.

Recall that in the spring of 2022, religious activists massively sent a statement to the Moscow Investigative Committee with a request to check Kirkorov’s speech in the Kremlin for insulting the feelings of believers, but the authorities never opened a criminal case.

Then the lawyer of Philip Kirkorov, Alexander Dobrovinsky, explained that the artist had repeatedly shown his reverent attitude towards religion, and mass complaints about performing with a crucifix were just attempts to “illegally limit the creative activity” of the singer.

Earlier, Philip Kirkorov denied rumors that his villa in Miami is being rented out. Kirkorov bought a house in Miami 12 years ago. The total area of the villa is approximately 800 square meters. At the current exchange rate, the cost of a two-story mansion is estimated at 700 million rubles.
