The interim manager of the Russian “daughter” of Google revealed signs of deliberate bankruptcy

The interim manager of Google LLC Valery Talyarovsky said that there are signs of deliberate bankruptcy in the subsidiary structure of the American corporation. This is stated in notification in the Federal resource.

The manager identified the actions or inactions of the company’s management, which led to the deterioration of financial ratios and loss of solvency. It is noted that dividends were accrued in the amount of “more than 32% of the balance sheet, which led to a significant deterioration in two or more solvency ratios.” Also, actions or inactions of the debtor’s management bodies were identified, “not in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and the orders of the judiciary, which led to the reduction of the company’s assets and the blocking of bank accounts.”

“Conclusion: signs have been identified that indicate the presence of signs of deliberate bankruptcy,” says the notice signed by Mr. Talyarovsky. In addition, in his opinion, there are no objective signs of fictitious bankruptcy, but “there are formal signs of fictitious bankruptcy.”

The Russian division of Google in 2022 itself went to court to declare it bankrupt. The Arbitration Court of Appeal introduced initial bankruptcy proceedings against Google LLC. More than 1,000 Russian companies have filed a claim against Google. Most of them are related to the failure to provide advertising services.

Since the end of 2021, turnover fines totaling RUB 29 billion have been imposed on Google twice. Also, millions of fines were imposed on the company for not deleting information on its resources. The Federal Bailiff Service withdrew all the money from the unit’s bank accounts as an interim measure.
