“In order to preserve the tourism potential of Crimea and Sevastopol, the government will allocate over 2.5 billion rubles,” Mishustin said.

The funds are directed to a one-time payment to employees of more than 3,500 companies, if they leave employment at a level of at least 80% within a year (from October 1, 2022), the prime minister explained.

Earlier in May, Ilya Umansky, President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (PCT), reported that hotels in Crimea for the summer were booked by 20-30% compared to 30-40% in May last year, and the occupancy of mini-hotels and hostels decreased by 20 percentage points. up to 30%.
