The government plans to allocate 95 billion rubles. to support preferential mortgage programs. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin announced this. According to him, the funds will be used as part of the implementation of a wide range of measures in the field of providing citizens with housing.

As Mr. Mishustin said on meeting government, about 46 billion rubles. of this amount will be used for family mortgages, 41 billion rubles. – for preferential mortgages, for Far Eastern mortgages – almost 8 billion rubles. By the end of this year, it is planned to provide approximately 700 thousand loans.

Since September 20 of this year, the government has increased the minimum down payment for loans issued under preferential lending programs from 15% to 20%. In October, the Central Bank proposed that the government again raise the minimum down payment in order to cool the housing loan market.
