The government promised to do everything for the financial recovery of Rusnano

Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, on the sidelines of the United Russia congress, said that the government will do everything necessary for the financial recovery of Rusnano.

“All directives to them (Rusnano.— “Ъ”) are given, and the Ministry of Finance monitors the financial condition of this organization. “Everything that is necessary will be done,” Mr. Chernyshenko answered the question whether a decision has been made on the financial recovery of the company (quote from “Interfax”).

In the Rusnano report for the first half of the year, published in early October, the state corporation warned about the impossibility of fulfilling obligations to creditors at the expense of its own funds and warned about the high risks of signs of bankruptcy. At the end of June, the state corporation’s net debt amounted to 95.56 billion rubles.

October 4, press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov statedthat the government is studying the financial situation at Rusnano and is taking measures to improve the situation. Mr. Chernyshenko clarified, that the government is assessing the state corporation’s projects to determine which of them should be implemented and which should be closed. December 12 state corporation paid off issue of exchange-traded bonds in the amount of RUB 5.5 billion.
