The government and JSC DOM.RF began to discuss possible options for the privatization of a financial development institution. In particular, it is proposed to carry it out in the format of an IPO on the Moscow Exchange. The newspaper reported this “Vedomosti” citing a source close to the government, a federal official and three interlocutors. Release is tentatively scheduled for 2025. The general director of DOM.RF, Vitaly Mutko, came up with the idea of privatization, the newspaper writes.

A representative of the Ministry of Finance confirmed the discussion of privatization and noted that its terms have not yet been agreed upon. According to him, the main issue is maintaining the status of PSE – a public company whose controlling stake is owned by the state. The press service of DOM.RF stated that they are considering various options for attracting financing.

In February, the government established rules for the alienation of federal property to attract investment, modernization and technological development of the economy. The new design proposes to introduce a “semi-automatic mode” – the procedural part will be the same for all transactions, but the government’s decision on each of them will be made with the participation of the Ministry of Finance, the Federal Property Management Agency and the Federal Antimonopoly Service.
