Within five days after the terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow, 100 thousand tickets to mass events in Russia, canceled due to what happened in the concert hall, were returned. About it RBC said the organizer of the Colisium International Music Industry Forum Sergei Babich. Meanwhile, the press service of MTS Entertainment reported that up to 60 thousand tickets had been returned.

The number of events canceled after the terrorist attack throughout the country reaches 1.5-2 thousand – approximately 3% of the total number. Most of the organizers, according to Sergei Babich, plan to reschedule concerts and events to later dates, rather than cancel them. At the same time, after the terrorist attack, ticket sales for concerts fell by 60-70%, said the head of the InterMedia agency, Evgeny Safronov.

After the terrorist attack in Moscow, mass events planned for March 23 and 24 were canceled throughout the country. As Kommersant reported, last weekend ticket services and cinemas began refunding tickets. Market participants noted the possible risk of losing viewers both due to citizens’ fears and due to possible restrictions from the authorities.

The terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall occurred on March 22. At 20:00 a concert of the Picnic group was scheduled to take place in the concert hall. A few minutes before the start, several armed men burst into Crocus, opened fire and set the building on fire. As a result, 143 people died and 360 were injured.
