The Vkusno-i Tochka chain of fast food restaurants plans to launch the sale of goods in branded packaging from November, and they plan to complete the product packaging by the end of the year. This was announced by the general director of restaurants Oleg Paroev. He announced plans to open all the restaurants of the former McDonald’s before the end of 2022. In addition, he confirmed the chain’s plans to not include beer on the menu.
“We are a family restaurant and our concept does not change. We will never sell (beer) in our restaurants,” Oleg Paroev said live on the Rossiya-24 TV channel (quoted from “RIA News”).
He explained that one of the former franchisees of McDonald’s, who did not agree on his work under the Tasty – and that’s the point, began selling beer at his enterprises. “But they have nothing to do with us today,” said Mr. Paroev. This is a company that worked at transport hubs in Moscow and St. Petersburg.
In mid-June, at the opening of the chain’s first restaurant, Mr. Paroev stated that the chain had no plans to introduce alcoholic products into the menu in the near future.
Also, the CEO of the network said that now the company produces branded “beautiful, colorful packaging that will delight guests.” According to Mr. Paroev, it has a “certain continuity” with McDonald`s.
